We Stand Together
Many girls and women across our operational regions face daily gender-based violence. Our work spans from Sierra Leone to Kenya and Uganda, with continued efforts in Liberia. When sexual violence against minors made headlines in Liberia, Stella's Girls stood in solidarity with the youth in Monrovia. Through bold protests, including participation in the International Day of the Girl, we declare: Enough Is Enough.

Empowering Through Education
In regions where Period Poverty is prevalent, girls often miss school or resort to unsafe menstrual practices. Stella's Girls, through the Red Flower Code program, provides education and training on making reusable sanitary pads. We advocate for period equity both in the U.S. and internationally. Our mission is empowering young women across West Africa and beyond, enabling them to manage their menstrual health with dignity.

Leading Through Crisis
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, we provided free tutoring and mentorship to students in remote learning environments. With the support of volunteers from educators to corporate leaders, we've helped hundreds of students, ensuring that no child is left behind academically or emotionally during times of crisis.

We Learn and Evolve Together
As a dynamic and evolving organization, Stella’s Girls constantly adapts our programs based on feedback from our community and key events such as the Summit of the Future. With input from our volunteers, Board of Directors, and those we serve, we work towards creating a more equitable future for all.

Advocacy is Our Voice
Stella's Girls advocates for change as a collective voice. Our mission is to educate and empower young women and girls to fight gender-based violence, promote education and reproductive health, reduce poverty, and advocate for women's rights. As a member of Girls, Not Brides, we focus on ensuring that girls can finish their education rather than becoming child brides. We also participate in key global events, such as the Commission on the Status of Women and the United Nations General Assembly, amplifying our advocacy at international levels.
